While the the complete zoological collection is moving back to the Forum Wissen, we are developing a new didactic program for children and families.

Activities for school classes

An extracurricular place of learning

Join us to learn about biodiversity in your surroundings.

We offer activities on various topics, such as animals in winter, bees, garden birds, wild animals in the city, butterflies, amphibians and much more.

In addition to the transmitted knowledge, you can also get creative!

Current locations

Rittergut Besenhausen

Dermoplastics, skeletons, shells, insects, fossils, and many more specimens are currently hosted in the rooms of a former handweaving mill in Besenhausen.

Holtensen

The wet collection and the taxidermist workshop are currently located in Holtensen, Göttingen.

 

The museum participates in: Kinder-Uni, Holiday program, Internationaler Museumstag, Tag der offenen Sammlung, Nacht des Wissens and Cooperation with Neue IGS Weende.
